Filesharing application help

I was an Audiogalaxy user, and then a Soulseek user, and now it appears that another one bites the dust. Soulseek went doen a few days a go, and I'm wondering whether anyone knows if there is anything out there that actually works and isn't as sinister as kazaa. Have tried winmx, blubster - none work properly or easily - any advice? :-/

Let say that it is not really wise to give links to p2p softwares on this forum.

This may give JRiver problems

Concering SS ,Nir would put it back in a few days as far as i know
