JRiver stops playing when using a PC
« on: July 19, 2016, 05:19:23 pm »

I have been using JRiver for some time with no problems. But recently a bougtht a PCA in an attempt to get a better audio quality.

The computer is connected to a Ayre QB-9 dac (version 96/24). It plays well when using the direct sound, but when using wasapi or kernel the program stops playing when changing tracks with different resolution.

Changing tracks with the same resolution does not stop playing.

When using a notebook no problem occurs.

I have tried both the windows 7 and windows 10.

Hope you can have some insight.

That may be a problem with the DAC.  You can use MC's DSP Studio > Output Settings to resample everything to whatever sample rate you prefer.

This was what I thought at first, but with the notebook, everything worked ok.

THe DSP settings were ajusted to the dac resolutions.

Are there drivers maybe you could try updating for the DAC?
