I have all Flac music files and every single one of them skips and briefly pauses during playback. It usually happens twice on each song. Once at the beginning and once near the middle or end of song. Please help. Am I the only one with this problem?

You should describe your system in more detail, such as signal chain, all the way to your DAC or pre-amp, and how JRiver is set up (DirectSound, WASAPI, ASIO...buffer lengths). Specify any DSPs.

I have the same issue.  I use JRiver MC21.  Occurs using WASAPI, or ASIO to  Benchmark HGC DAC2 via USB cable.  Windows Intel I7 3.4 processor, 16GB RAM, Windows 7 64-Bit. I too could use some assistance fixing this issue. Thanks in advance.

There are many reasons that could happen.  Antivirus software is always a possibility.  See the "Weird Problems" link in my signature for more.

Are the files stored locally?  If not, try moving a few to see what happens.
