Hi,
I recently installed JRemote on my iPhone 5 and sometimes the app can connect to Media Center 21 and sometimes it cannot.
To the best of my ability, I opened port 52199 on my router and Windows Firewall appears to be configured to open all ports to Media Center 21.
What I don't understand is why the erratic behavior? Right now my phone is 2 feet from the router and it cannot connect, so signal strenght shouldn't be the issue... Also at the moment Windows Firewal is temporarily deactivated on the computer where Media Center is installed and that doesn't seem to help either.
I am really frustrated by this. Thanks for any help.
Note : my home network has a desktop computer wired to a router and a laptop also usually wired to the router. I set static IP adresses on both computers.
