ASIO Driver/Buffering Latency question - Lip Sync
« on: August 01, 2016, 11:53:55 am »

Under Audio->Device settings one has the option to set the buffering size (recommended value 50 ms) and for the Asus STX II under output : Open Driver Control Panel ->bitdepth; latency. Bitdepth I have set to 24 bit.

I use
- 50ms for buffering (recommended)
- 10 ms latency for the Ausus ASIO drive

Are these parameter correlated or independend?

Hi Jim - Sorry but I did not correct the title before posting. I only wanted to understand the differences of the two parameters.
