OK, I see. Spaces and Desktops are the same thing though. You're describing a full Mac specific screen behavior.

This happens on my system too. MC doesn't have a "full screen Mac mode" where it hides the title bar and menus.
I guess I can see why this might be nice. It's just a tiny little bit of extra screen display, but I understand that other apps support this feature. I never use it with other apps. Doesn't seem like it gains me anything. But that's just me.
I understand what you're asking for now. It's up the dev team to decide if they think this is a good feature for MC or not. Maybe you can illustrate how this feature is helpful to you or others to help the developers to see why it would be good.
Brian.

Obviously there's no scaling or retina support. I added install instructions to the post.

It is an aesthetic and practical. No need to explain why it is aesthetic. OSX has its own guidelines for developers, who make the system harmonic, unlike Windows and Linux. Mac users highly appreciate the aesthetic appearance. It is a practical matter if you have a 13-inch Macbook and menubar detracts a little size. And it's handy if you want the application to be opened to run in its own predetermined space. When I open JRiver running on the monitor 1. I have to move the window to monitor 2, maximize and, as you say, create a new desktop space to clear at least one desk on the second monitor. However if JRiver compatible with Mission Control to open the application window would run directly in its own right monitor, predetermined fullscreen space.

Thank you. They are very pretty. Hopefully these three and Dark Edition be the default application skins.

You keep saying "space" and "desktop", but now you're saying monitor. You can assign MC to a specific Desktop through the right click menu on the dock. Tell it which desktop to be assigned to and it will open in that desktop every time. I believe you can also set the option to open in a specific desktop ON a specific monitor. I don't have two monitors, so I'm not 100% sure.
Anyway, I guess I won't pursue this any more. Good luck.
Brian.
