MadVR settings
« on: August 05, 2016, 08:48:54 pm »

Hi

I watch mostly blu ray mkvs. But I occasionally watch a DVD mkv. I find DVD quality v poor, I don't believe this is a relative thing as its a reproduction issue that I don't get from discs on a standalone player. What I notice is that the image appears to have a lag eg on faces it's as if the features smear out when the head moves, and generally the image is like you are looking at it under water.

What madVR settings should I be looking at for this? Noting that I don't want to reduce blu ray quality.

I have an AMD R9 270 and use ROHQ.

Many thank
Z

I'm not sure where it would be but have you tried enabling smooth motion?  What have you done on your own so far to attempt to fix this?  If your not sure about what your doing, backup your jriver settings, find a guide to setting up mad vr (this guide doesn't have to be jriver specific) and see if you can improve your pq
