I'm considering offering my services to improve people's libraries. Services would include finding and resolving duplicates, finding low bit rate files, recommending files to be deleted, standardizing cover art to a specific size, and more.
I've recently completed a project on a rather large library (about 30,000 files) where I changed metadata on a little more than 23% of those files. The library seemed vastly improved after.
I'm not sure how many people might be interested in this kind of thing. Of those who are interested, I'm not sure how much they think these types of services are worth.
I'm curious what any of you think of this idea and what it might be worth to potential clients.
