I use Devialet Air3.0ß (Oh yes! it works ). In my environment there are four? buffers:
1. Audio Device->Device Settings 100ms (Recommended)
2. Ethernet Adapter typically does also buffering
3  Switch?
4. Devialet Air: 500 ms (recommended)

Is there be a reason to have the Audio Device settings to be 100 ms or could I lower the value?

For other Devialet Air users: 3.0ß works almost perfect here since 2 weeks stresstesting. I can also use it for video with decent A/V sync settings: -180ms. In earlier versions of Air it was ~-1.8 sec and not usable.
