Library duplicates [Solved]

I moved my library due to a faulty drive now some of my files are duplicated in the library.
They are not duplicated on the disk.
How can I fix this please

Use the search wizard OR a smartlist OR a library view to identify the erroneous files by file path and then do a mass removal from the library. Alternatively, if your older library entries had important metadata (like ratings) then you should use the Rename, Move and Copy Files tool to update the database to point at the new files after removing the newer entries.

I discovered the problem.
I use allway sync and somehow that was causing a problem.
I deleted all the files and re imported and all was fine.
This would not work if the files were tagged fortunately these were not.
