Topic: 21.0.90 is not being distributed on stable channel (Read 2288 times)

Here's a question. So I have MC21 on the stable channel. This means is the version stays at: 21.0.83.
I was curious if I could get another release so I decided to change the channel to "latest" and it then upgraded to 21.0.90.
(Hmm wonders what happens if I change to beta channel

).

My question is, why isn't 21.0.90 (the final release I assume) on the stable channel yet?
Could this be an oversight (release date was June 2016), or do you wait 3 months or something (is it not regarded as stable yet?).

I guess 90 is not a stable version, the last stable is then 83.
