VU-/Peakmeter instaed of spectrum analyser

Hi, is there a way to get a VU-/Peakmeter in Mediacenter to check the audio material visibly (perhaps with peak hold)?
Would be very helpful :-) :)

You can add third party VST plugins to MC.  Plenty of free ones available that might suit your needs?
