activity log

Why is it showing "Source" as every IP in my network when I only have one library?  It looks like it's always scanning...

What is "it"?  Where do you see this?

MC looks for DLNA devices on the network.

It's probably what I said above.  MC is listening for other devices.  You may have devices that support DLNA.  New TV's, receivers, Blu-Ray players, etc.

I don't think so.  You could select one server or you could select a different view.

I think it will stop scanning if you turn off Media Network.  Of course that will remove all Media Network functionality.

You can selectively turn off all of the DLNA functionality in Options -> Media Network -> Advanced, with all three modules off, all that will be running is MCWS (ie. MCs web service),  and the SSDP discovery to actually find different MC instances.
If you want to turn those off as well, disabling Media Network entirely would be the way to go.
