When I close a library or shut down MC21 all my music library files are deleted from my hard drive.
These are Flac and wav files. I tried reinstalling mc21 and it stopped doing this for one cycle of usage
and then it started doing it again.
I am using windows 7 pro and have used mc21 for about a year with no problem until two weeks ago.
any thoughts ?

Is it the files being deleted or them being lost from MC?
I'd do a virus scan. Malwarebytes has a free one that's worked really well for me when others have failed.
The build on MC 21 hasn't changed in quite a while.

I've been sick for a while so I haven't been able to respond quickly.
Thanks for the answer.
Tried malwarebytes  and spybot and AVG but nothing clears up my problem.
Yes the files are being deleted from my hard drive. I keep a set of backups on another drive.
Later this week I will try to get a more thorough uninstall and then try reinstalling it again.
very odd problem.

OK
I unistalled MC21, cleaned my registry and upgraded to MC22.
Problem has gone away and I'm happy with MC again...
