DAC - Device uses only most significant 24 bits?
« on: November 28, 2016, 11:24:08 am »

I have a Devialet 220 PRO.

To my Knowledge it has a 24 bit DAC.

The D220 Pro has a USB ASIO Driver. The ASIO driver Outputs 32 bit.

Must I enable "Device uses only most significant 24 bits in the audio->device settings" and TPDF Dithering?

Thank you very much!

Yes, if you have a 24-bit DAC then select that option and use TPDF dithering.
