I seem to remember (but can't find the thread) that Matt asked, maybe 6-8 months ago, for some feed-back because he wanted to work on improving the zone linking. Any development on this?

Hi everyone,

We'd like to improve the zone sync experience, but we're not exactly sure where it's falling down for people.

We recently added the "Adjust Link Timing" dialog.  That allows adjusting the timing and also the playback rate.

Where does this system fail for you?  And even better, what can we do about it?

I guess the silence means "no". Oh well, maybe in MC23...

They are doing what they can to look into this as far as I know. It's just rather involved, so we need to continue to be patient. But all of us do want it, and the devs do know how poorly the current implementation works in certain circumstances.

I'm ok with being patient. Just needed to know if they're still willing to invest time in this. Thanks for the update.

Yup - Matt recently commented that the current implementation is not great and is thinking about what to do.  No timeframe however.
