source for audio recording
« on: July 24, 2003, 09:27:45 am »

I'm using MC to record a source playing through my soundcard.

In recorder settings for recording source, MC gives me the following choices:  Line-In, Microphone, CD Audio, and Mixer.

The problem is that my sound card also has Line-In2 and SPDIF-In.  I would like to record from these sources as well (partiuclarly Line-In2).

How can I add these sources to my recording source?

Thanks
S

Just choose the "Mixer" option which basically lets you manually set up whatever recording sources (or combinations) you want using the windows mixer control. You'll have to manually adjust the volume controls in window mixer and run tests to see if you're getting good sound quality.
