"Play a little silence on DoP stop"

Is there an equivalent setting to "Play a little silence" for DSD in DOP format on Linux? Could there be one? It would be useful.

I guess I will add... This is on an iFi Micro iDAC2 running the latest 5.2 firmware. I'm asking because of a slight tick sound when DSD or PCM2DSD playback stops (and starts). The option to play silence for hardware synchronization takes care of the tick on playback start. Presumably "Play a little silence on DoP" stop would take care of this sound when stopping DoP playback? Is it not possible to implement in Linux or? Playback is otherwise perfect.

I'm also experiencing a minor tick at the start and end of DSD playback (iso and dsf files). My JRiver server is connected via ethernet to a Bridge II of a PS Audio Directstream DAC. I also selected DoPE in JRiver. If the option "Play a little silence" should solve the tick at the start and end of DSD playback, that would be perfect. It's the only "issue" I have at the moment. Can someone of the JRiver experts respond to this matter?

Still interested in hearing about this even if it's just a No.

It isn't a bad idea, but we have no current plans.  The problem is the DAC.

Plus the option seems to be limited to WASAPI on Windows - it doesn't seem like it's available for ASIO, for example. So I'd imagine this would be difficult on Linux with ALSA... assuming there's sufficient DSD support in the Linux kernel being used.
