I can use the operating system eject, but I wasn't aware of an MC eject. Where is that element located and is there any way to automate it?
OK - I've tested this on MC22.0.72 Win 10 x64 with Anniversary update with
VCD 5.5.0.0 installed and this is what I did:
1. Navigated to the .iso in Windows Explorer
2. Context Menu / Right click on the .iso > Media Centre > Play
3. Now from MC, a dialogue splash screen shows up > New Media Action > select Play DVD
4. After the feature starts playing > Stop
5. In Standard View navigate to Drives & Devices > Select relevant virtual disc drive > Context Menu / Right click >
Eject6. (If you want to clear the .iso from MC's playing history) In Standard View navigate to Playing Now > Player > Clear Playing Now
If you don't do step 6, then the .iso still shows up but if you attempt "Play" MC gives a "Can't find media" type message ... makes sense.
So, MC functions as I expected. Don't know about automating the process. Sounds like a job for:
