Wonder what format are the Comcast HD channels on JR MediaCenter?

Hi,

I am using two media players. First one is the NextPVR which can't display the HD 1080p comcast channels. Only get audio. However JRiver MediaCenter does a wonderful job displaying those channels and wondering whats JR doing that NextPVR is not?

Comcast in my area has started compressing many channels with H264. All channels used to be MPEG2. Your issues may be related to the H264 switch. MC will have no issues with either format. NextPVR (from a quick search) can do either as well but needs the appropriate configuration and decoders installed.
