This was mentioned under the development of MC 9.0, but never surfaced. I would like a function to send a numbered/named playlist to a specific zone, something like this:

mjextman.exe /Command PlayZone 3 d:\playlists\23.m3u

So this will open the play list 23.m3u in zone 4 (which of course is designated zone 3 in mjextman).

Is this possible this time? It would really help, because if I'm for instance controlling the music in the living room with NetRemote at the same time as my son Kevin wants to open a playlist in his room, it often ends up with me adding track to his zone instead of the living room zone since the way it is now I have had to set the system to change to his zone and then open the play list instead of just opening the play list from the command line in his zone. You can say that I'm a victim of my own success since more than one zone is used at the same time more and more frequently.

It would be much appreciated.

Come on, Matt, Jim, whoever! Can't you at least give me an answer? Even if it's just "no, it won't happen" or even "stop bugging us, you silly viking"!

Sorry, Tor. It's just not a high priority right now. We have a lot of other things that are. Maybe some day.
