Tracks stop buffering at 82%

I have the frequent problem that some audio tracks stop buffering at 82% when chosen to play.
Each time i doubleclick those files a seccond time they start playing.
It happens with 96kHz stereo FLAC files only.
Other resolutions (44kHz 48kHz 88.2kHz, 192kHz) always play well.
Very confusing!
The driver is  the latest realtek HD Audio driver and i use SPDIF out coaxial connected to a DAC.
Media Center current Version: 22.0.74
But it happens since log ago already with older drivers and older releases of MediaCenter.

Do you have one of the play from memory settings checked? If so, clear it.

Memory playback is disabled already.
