Is there a way to populate the JRiver DB with the values from the Foobar SACD-ISO sidecar XML-file?

From what I understand, SACD-tagging in JRiver is not persistent (no sidecar), but it would be helpful to be able to use the Foobar sidecar as a source.
It seems that sidecar-tagging has been a feature request for some time, so my hope is that a workaround is floating around somewhere.

(Eh no, I don't want to convert my ISO's into a JRiver-taggable format).

Any help appreciated.

Coming next build:
NEW: During import of an ISO file from a SACD, the Foobar sidecar file is read for the track names (we can pull other data if you request it).

I started by just reading the track names, but like the history says, if there are other valuable pieces of information we're not getting, just say the word.

Great start! 

I'm a longtime Foobar user and will probably keep using it for the foreseeable future for tagging/maintenance. So Ideally I would like to pull ALL tags. 

Some usage scenario's:
- creating temp .flac or .mp3 copies from SACD-ISO to be able to get MusicBrainz tags with Picard and manually copying the tags from the temp files to the SACD-ISO (works like a breeze, just 1 copy past action required in Foobar)
- similar procedure for tags generated by tools like Beatunes or MusicIp.

I'm quite new to MC, so not much experience with how thinks work with refreshing tags, but a (automagic) refresh option of the tags inside MC from the edited Foobar sidecar-file would be nice.

Thanks again for adding this. For me it was a major inconvenience not having uniform tagging for SACD-ISO's.

(I'm on MC21 so this would require a paid upgrade right?)

Yes, it is a paid upgrade.  $26.98.

You can use the Tool called Update Library from Tags to do what you want.

Many people have asked for years for MC to write a sidecar with this exact information.

Is there any chance now of adding a capability to do that?

I suppose the simplest way would be to use the same file format to create a standard (since Foobar and MC are still amongst the only software to read SACD ISOs).
