Help - Ogg Plugin Error While Upgrading From MJ8
« on: July 16, 2003, 10:22:00 am »

I have (2) questions/problems encountered during an upgrade to MC 9.0.180 from MJ 8.0.399.

1.) I received a "Cannot load plugin" (in_ogg.dll) error while the upgrade process was installing plugins.  Throughout the remainder of the upgrade I received (2)  more "ogg" related errors.  When MC opened after the upgrade completed, I went to the "Plug-In Manager" and under "Input", the "Vorbis Plugin" couldn't be found.  I use Ogg.  Is this a known problem?  Any suggestions for a fix?

2.) I backed-up my MJ8 library before performing this upgrade.  During the upgrade process, MC said it was locating my backup library and importing it.  I had multiple backups of MJ which had been created over time.  How come I wasn't questioned via a dialog box as to which backup to restore?  Which backup did it restore?

Your help as always is greatly appreciated,

Blair
