selecting drive location for file downloads
« on: March 27, 2017, 01:58:47 pm »

Hello,
I am new to this forum and am also in the process of building my first home PC / HTPC server.  I am looking for information on how to change the location for file downloads.  After purchasing and downloading the JRiver Media Center program, I noticed that whenever I rip a CD and download it, the file gets saved under "My Music" on my SSD.  I have multiple drives for storage and will be storing my music and videos on HDD's, and NOT my SSD.  I am keeping the SSD separate for my OS.  How can a person change the default in the media program to automatically store and retrieve files on a different drive?  I don't want to have to  cut and copy these files to a different drive every time I load a new file.
Thank you.

You go to Tools > Options > File Location to set file locations for ripped content.
