MC 22.0.88 in Win10x64
HDHR Prime 3-tuner device with Comcast/Xfinity CableCARD, in use for about 4 years

As of today, Live TV won't playback properly in MC. It plays about 3 seconds, then the audio continues normally, but the video freezes. The interface for MC (up-left-right and on screen displays) also fails.

To troubleshoot, I've reset the HDHR and the computer, I've disabled and re-enabled the tuners in MC Tools/Options/Television, and I've used HD HomeRun VIEW to verify that Live TV playback does indeed work properly in that program.

Any thoughts on what could be the issue and solution?

Some further troubleshooting:
I disabled the Windowed Overlay in madVR settings. This MAY have fixed the problem. Still seeking understanding of the matter, if anyone knows about such an issue.
