I see no way of contacting a representative of JRiver except via the forum so I'll post this and see what happens.
I've read all of the stuff regarding licenses ... but none of it seems to address my specific situation. I had a HTPC that was based on Windows that totally crashed last summer. It was mostly based on Windows MC, but I did have JRiver installed and have dabbled with it for several years ... but never really made use of it ... but I did continue to do updates over the years.
Last summer I upgraded to version 22 simply to take advantage of a special offer and I have the emails associated with that purchase ... but never got around to installing it since my HTPC had crashed. I've now moved all of my equipment to Mac platform and no longer have any Windows based equipment. I would like to transfer my license to Mac. I did download the program and installed it but when I tried to insert my license of course it said it was for Windows and wouldn't allow it.
I'm not inclined at this point to invest much more money in a product I have yet to make use of even though I have supported it over the years. Please let me know what my options are. Thanks.
