I have downloaded a purchased file from Native DSD (Kaze from Azusa Yamada and Pearl Alexander at Sakaiki 2015) that when I play it causes JRiver to instantly crash. It is only one file from a whole album. All the other files from this album play fine. I have played larger DSD files and files with more bit depth to them. I have re-downloaded the file and it still causes JRiver to crash. The same file plays fine through foobar 2000. If you contact me separately I can send the file as I can't seem to get it attached to this post. Please let me know why this is happening and if there is some setting I need to change to have it play or if there is something corrupt in the file that is causing the crash which foobar2000 is not picking up.
