Difference between streaming systems
« on: April 14, 2017, 05:16:25 am »

I have one TV DLNA.
I have JRiver.

Well, How many streaming systems exist? It is,

- I can put HDD with movies in the network and the TV (I suppose) gets the movie from HDD. The TV internal soft play the movie.
- I can use JRiver using DLNA / UPnP. If I use DLNA in JRiver who play the movie? JRiver play or TV play? JRiver only transfer? or JRiver play and transfer?

I don't understand the difference.

What is the benefit of using jriver instead of a network hard drive? For play in TV or Projector.

Thank you.
