How to play whole library, with exceptions

Is it possible to set up a smartlist to play my whole library, but to ignore certain genres of music? I would like to play my whole library randomly without hearing any of my many Christmas/Holiday tracks. I don't really want to specify which genres it should play (I have tons) but rather which one not to play.

Well that's exactly what you do. Add a "genre is not any" rule to the playlist definition.
