Using a MacBook Air, I often move from my office (with a plugged in Edirol device) to upstairs in my kitchen (with an Amazon Echo).  I'll stop whatever I'm listening to, but I don't power down the MBA then, I just close the lid and walk upstairs.  When I do this, even though the zone called "Player" works, I'm missing the ability to control the sound via the MBA.  When I hit the volume buttons nothing happens, no on screen display and the sound doesn't change.  I have to close MC, close the MC server and restart. 

It's more of an annoyance than anything else, but closing the app & server takes a solid 10-12 seconds.
