Convolution for 8 channels?
« on: May 02, 2017, 08:33:32 pm »

The default for convolution in DSP studio is just 2 channels of FIR. How does one get JRiver to apply FIR filters to 8 channels?

You probably want to be aware of http://yabb.jriver.com/interact/index.php/topic,102394.0.html if you are editing cfg files and possibly http://yabb.jriver.com/interact/index.php/topic,95806.msg710067.html#msg710067 as not all features in the cfg file are impenetrable by jriver.

Thank you very much to both. That bug heads up is very helpful. I can see myself spending lots of hours trying to figure out what's going on.

Hi

I use because of that an external convolver: acourateconvolver. Easy to configure with huge amount of different filters possible, to switch and compare at any samplerate.
Its not for free, however it works great and has some additional features like "flow", ISO loudness curves etc.

www.audiovero.de
see: acourateconvolver

I run JRiver MC22.0.105
