Who the hell needed a 12MP camera in their phone? Nice camera. Takes 30 years to send someone an image if you forget to resize it. Some things you might want to send aren't that big in real life.

Who the hell needed a 12MP camera in their phone?

May not need it, but it's nice to have sometimes. Went to Salzburg last year and took a panorama with my G4; 12MP produces an incredibly impressive stitched image.

In fact the camera is pretty impressive overall, it takes very good pictures in all sorts of unlikely situations and that's a camera in a fairly cheap phone - I can see why the bottom has fallen out of the compact camera market.
