« on: June 18, 2017, 04:01:19 pm »

Hi all

I sometimes start a album in MC, and it will start up at low speed, like 1/2 of the normal speed, when i then chose another album it will play in normal speed, i can then restart MC and the first album will then play in normal speed

What device are you playing to?  Locally attached USB DAC?  Network based DLNA renderer?  Bluetooth speaker?

I've experience something similar to what you are describing, but not the same.  Occasionally I've had audio play back a little bit faster or slower.  Enough that the pitch was off and I could tell.  This happened with a setup with two different zones that talked to the same (local) device.  Apparently the sample rate got locked when one zone talked to the device and then a second zone tried to send audio to it later.  For example, locking the device at 48kHz, and then playing back a 44.1kHz file.  This resulted in a pitch shift on playback.

I have a funny feeling that what I just described is not what you are experiencing.

Brian.
