Analyze Audio on dvd

I'm trying to run 'Analyze Audio' on mp3's that are burned on a dvd. MC replies with a message: "Only audio files can be analyzed (1 non-audio file(s) could not be added).

Analyzing a file on harddisk or network driuve works fine. Can audio files on cd/dvd nog be analyzed?

I've tried this in version 9.0.180.
