iTunes Artwork to FLAC files

one of the reason i dont buy music from itunes ... they sell AAC ... if they were selling ALAC, sure to use it ... darn pain to hunt down old CDs in good enough condition to rip (my original collection mostly scratch from days when i was careless)

if you not sure what you have (files can be ALAC, but generated from aac or mp3), there are some tools that analyse spectrum ... if see high frequency cut off ... likely its lossy format

I've probably bought 300 or more used CDs in the last 2 years.  They are in various condition, but something like 95% of the ones I buy rip cleanly with just a quick rubdown to remove dirt and fingerprints. 

I've gotten quite a few from FYE.com for very reasonable prices (usually under $6, plus I wait for the sales that they run every week).  I also find CDs at Flea Markets and things like that, usually for $1; sometimes for $3 or $4.

It's kinda fun looking around for CDs.  FYE has a good to very good selection. Amazon has almost anything you could want, but sometimes at stupid prices.
