feature request: progress indicator for memory play
« on: July 22, 2017, 04:24:59 am »

Hi

I have an initial delay of few seconds when playing the album, it is probably due to the read process.
I remind there is an indication about 'spinning up drives', is it possible to have something in this case?
Otherwise, the feeling is like the system is stuck

You may have a buffer set too high in MC's audio settings.

If you're playing a very large file format, like DSD, it would cause a small delay.  Bigger, if playing it from a NAS.

Yes, I think that's the case.
But is it possible to include an indication?

Because what I do is clicking second time on play

I agree.  With very large files, the delay is considerable and having some kind of indicator would be reassuring.
