While the acronym is well-known, the "meaning" is certainly less clear. Biological weapons are considered by many to meet the "mass" definition, while kinetic weapons that can potentially "destroy" on a much larger scale do not.

It's an interesting topic of discussion...

I can't resist after all the discussions in this board a few months ago:

I'm happy, that Iraquis are really free now. And they have obviously no problems with their freedom. Besides US. And Europe should help to solve all the problems now (all problems besides the really hard WMD's).

You hit it just right ... No one should have the right to run roughshod over and randomly and indiscriminately murder their own people. EVERYONE needs to stand up and stop that. But the much-vaunted "excuse" of WMD's has most definitely been discredited. Maybe not forever but at this point they would need to be VERY definite.

I'm also glad the Iraqi people are (or will be) "free". Same with Afghanis. Soon, apparently with Liberia.

Right results, maybe not-so-good reasons.
