Clearing Dynamic Range Results
« on: July 29, 2017, 02:47:44 pm »

Obtained several compilations with multiple songs but no breaks or song tags.  Ran DR using advance tools and got values for the overall compilation.

Used Audacity to split the compilations into individual tracks.  When I try to run DR on the individual tracks MC20 tells me there are no tracks to analyze.  I have tried to clear the DR tags for the unsplit compilations but that still does not allow running individual DRs.

Assistance would be appreciated...

When you bring up the Analyze Audio dialog, look near the left bottom.  You'll see an X in a box that says "skip analyzed files".  Uncheck that X and then it will re-analyze all of the files you ask it to.

Thanks, Brian.  The only thing to make it more obvious would be flashing neon!   :-[

Like the old joke goes...

How do you hide an elephant in a cherry tree?

You give him a pair of red polka dot pajamas!\
