ID for RPi3 and DSP Parametric EQ support
« on: August 02, 2017, 12:17:55 pm »

Is DSP Parametric EQ supported on the ID for RPI3 running MC 22? I notice a distinct difference when using the regular Equalizer on the RPi version of MC but none of the settings I made in the Parametric EQ seem to do anything.

I am running the Raspberry with files streamed from Win 10 version of MC. I noticed that when I go to (Windows) Tools>Media Network>Add or configure DLNA servers>Audio>Advanced That DSP Studio is greyed out. I am considering buying a mic in order to do room correction but I would rather not spend that money if I can't get the Parametric EQ and room correction features to work. Thanks!

To use any of the DSP studio functions in DLNA, you MUST set the output to "Specified output format" in MC's DLNA server Audio configuration section.

Thanks Bob, sorry I am late getting back.. I have gotten the PEQ to work now on the RPi, don't know why I couldn't detect its effect before. Pretty slick bit of software here and am anxious to explore it!
