To John T on printing jewel case labels
« on: July 01, 2003, 11:45:29 am »

John, you will remember me telling you that the labels printed on my system were of incorrect dimensions. The tray labels were too wide and the front label was too deep (top to bottom). You tried hard to find the problem, but now I know what it was.

I've installed a new printer - an i850 canon - and labels are now correct. I had been using an s520 canon. I don't know whether it was the printer or the printer software that was at fault, but now all is OK.

So, with regret for the headache I must have caused you, I say thank you once again for your efforts.

Thanks for letting me know. I've got my eye on that i850 printer as well, it looks great for doing digital photography.
As to the s520 problem, it may have been a bug in the printer driver that only showed up when certain commands were used.
