Please Help! MC9.1 restores off screen
« on: June 30, 2003, 08:23:15 pm »

Hi All,

I don't know how this happened, but since I reinstalled Media Center after a drive reformat, the "non-full-screen" window is WAY off the screen and I can't get it back.

With most windows apps, you can bring up the window menu (using alt-spacebar) and hit M for Move and use the arrow keys to bring it back into view, but Media Center doesn't have a Move item to choose, only Restore, Minimize and Maximize.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, I'll even dive into the registry if I have to!

cheers,

Bill

Right-click on the task bar and try the following menu commands:

Cascade windows
Tile Windows Horizontally
Tile Windows Vertically

Cascade windows should do the job ;D

This is happening to me as well.  And Cascade Windows (or Tile Horizontally or Tile Vertically) didn't work.  I can only see the Media Center window when it is maximized to the full window.  Any other suggestions?

MC seemed to be hung in the taskbar so I ended the app in task manager.  Then when I restarted, the window was in the "non-full screen".  That does't really explain anything, but now I have the "non-full screen" window.
