Can I prevent import of ripped Blu-rays?
« on: September 05, 2017, 09:08:14 am »

The original thread on Blu-ray ripping says:
"The contents of the Blu-ray directory is copied (without modification) from the disc to a directory on the hard disk named for the movie and located under Video\BD or in the directory you set under MC's File Locations.

The index file will be imported and the Media Subtype will be set to "Movie".

I would like a way to turn off the auto-import for the new rips.

I currently have three folders for Blu-ray:  \New Blu-ray Rips, \Movies, and \Concerts. Movies and Concerts are set as watched folders for auto-import and New Blu-ray Rips is set to "exclude this folder and all child folders" in auto-import.

The New Blu-ray Rips folder gets all new rips and then when I move them to the other folders (using Windows Explorer) I have rules set to tag them automatically with Media subtype (Movie or Concert), Series, and Season. All concerts get a Series of =[Name] and a Season tag of "Full Concert". Particles later get a Season tag of "Songs".

Perhaps rips should just honor the settings in auto-import.
