I will stick with Ubuntu or try Mint if I want to get in to something new.
Thanks.

IMO, the easiest distros to get MC working on the quickest is Ubuntu and Mint.

Hi,
I've got the thread priorities enabled and working, but no change. MC22 works, MC23 not.
Also I checked the pulse-shm-files. It seems to me, there is no difference between both versions, except the thread priorities.

Hi Bob,
Problem solved! It has nothing to do with MC, because the ALSA plug-in allows different configuration for every application (see attached image). It's a little misleading, because the application will only pop up, when actually playing music. If I set this to "Beats Studio Wireless", it will switch to the headset as soon it's available.
Thanks
