The other day I imported my video's into JRiver. When I'm searching for something with JRemote, the program not only lists audio, but video as well. Is there an "audio only mode" for JRemote?

It should offer you the choice by default?

When JRemote opens you should have a list on the left

Images
Video
Playlists
Remote
Search

So, I would tap on Audio,  choose your view  (Album, Artist, etc) and then hit the search button from there.  It's a little hard to spot so maybe they can improve that.
