the usb drive says for NUC, will it work on different hardware also?

I have an asus vm60 i want to install on.
Will the jriver id usb image work for a dlna server?
I want it to be a dlna server that i control from my another pc running jriver.

also, is the iso image available for download so i don't have to wait for you to mail a usb stick for a lesser amount?
