Power: Serving (disable automatic sleep)
« on: September 29, 2017, 02:18:29 pm »

Under Help->System Info I got the message:

Power
Serving (disable automatic sleep) [expires in 8 min]

I don't have that on my two other PC/HTPC only on my new setup media server - what does it mean?

It means that MC is preventing your server from going to sleep because it is currently serving a file (or has quite recently). This ensures that the server doesn't suddenly vanish while its still meant to serve files to other systems. :)
Even if your system isn't setup to automatically sleep, those events still show up there all the same. Its perfectly normal operation.
