search tells me that I should get it to switch to display view for audio (via https://yabb.jriver.com/interact/index.php?topic=91575.0) which I've done but the volume level and track position indicator are a bit obscure as they're just dots with no obvious start/end point and hence it's pretty hard to understand.

If you know to arrow down to those dots then you can see a more detailed view but you have to know that is what it means. Any way to get this to show up all the time rather than only appear on hover?

the video playback OSD would be ideal imv, any way to get something like that activated in theatre view?
