O.K. I NEED HELP !

I just installed Media Center 9, and I have already (at least) two big problems with it. First, when I play .m3u files (like those from EMusic), the file plays but PC then freezes almost completely. Playing any other file (MP3 for instance) does not cause that problem.

Also, I have no visual on .avi files ...

I had MediaJukebox 8 before, and neither of these problems was occuring ...

Can anybody help me ? Thanks ...

Well firstly what version of 9 do u have? 9 or 9.1??

Also - post it as a bug in the thread for the current build.

if you look under "Help", "about"

it will tell you what version.

I also tried the 9.1. Same thing.

And when I press tv tuner, options, scan, something from the software pops out telling me about an error. I click OK but it refuses to go away. No way of closing the program or anything else on my PC. I had to turn it off manually.

I tried to burn a CD audio with it and got an error message. The CD in question was recorded, but without any info on songs and artists and such. When I played it in a CD player, it played fine, but when I played it with Media Center 9, sound was awfully distorted.

And on top of it, I didn't succeed uninstalling the program completely. Sorry, but it is simply not working for me.

I had try Media Jukebox 8, and had no problems with it, so I bought my license today. I'll let you know (in the appropriate forum) if any new problem occurs.

v9 had a few bugs which were not resolved before v9.1 was started - it was an immediate follow on. Hopefully they'll be addressed though in this version :)

If you could post as much information as possible about it though in the build threads it would realy help the programmers work out what the bug is and I'm sure they will try fix it for you asap. They'd probably get it addressed in a build or two if they could replicate it or understand what is happening.

I'd suggest keep trying v9.1 and just report this bug in the build threads until they have it solved for u :)
