Uninstall of MC 22 from MacBook
« on: October 10, 2017, 08:33:11 pm »

A late to the table new MacBook user here.  The installed MC22 icon when dragged to the trash, hops back to Launchpad.  Is there another way to uninstall MC?  Should I just try to install MC23 without taking 22 off first?

All my experience (limited as it is) with MC is on Windows.

Use an app like AppCleaner to do it.

MC23 can be installed right along side MC22.  No problems.

What you are describing sounds like you still have MC22 open.  Maybe the server part is still open?  Look at the top bar of the Mac and see if you see the MC icon there.  It will look like a small version of the regular icon.  If it's there, click on it and close the server portion.  Then you should be able to delete MC22.
